VIENNA, Austria — 23 December 2025 — Community volunteers linked to “A Drug-Free World” Austria have expanded outreach in Vienna, speaking with young people, parents and teachers through street information stands and event-based activities. Led locally by Gabriele Toker, a local organiser, the initiative relies on “Truth About Drugs” materials to provide straightforward information on drug risks, with particular attention to cannabis, often cited as eu news 2023 Europe’s most commonly used illicit drug. A short report is available via a Scientology Europe report.
Organisers say, the Vienna activities aim to reach teenagers early, with visibility at major public events, including the Donauinselfest, while also supporting teachers seeking prevention tools for schools. Ivan Arjona, Scientology’s representative to the EU, OSCE, Council of Europe and the United Nations, said: “Reliable, early information helps young people make free and responsible choices—supporting both community well-being and European civic values.”
